Five are my design, many were changed from original charts. But truth be told, it was a year of waning needle love and stitching slumps. The most difficult I've had in quite some time resulting in small projects and no desire to work on a larger sampler. Lori Rippey's Polly Cole was the only one and having short rows made it easier for me. Very wide projects really test my patience so Polly was not a problem.
One Santa was stitched in 2016 and finished in 2017, I believe the others were all 2017.
Not sure I could pick a favorite, but 1776, my minis, Chums, the Kogut Santas are at the top.
Nitzy has improved, is drinking water and taking some food. He is using the litter box and staying inside to rest, I am sure he will be fine. He was drooling with his tongue out and not moving much which is what the vet said was common with poisoning.

So very glad Nitzy is better, when my cat Otto was "off his feed and just not acting right" I went to the vet and $400 later after antibiotics and IV fluids( he was dehydrated )all they could find was he must have gotten into something. Then of course got the brief lecture on " inside cats are healthier and live longer" tell that to my 14 year old cat Aggie! Now I swear all Otto does is drink water, they must have told him drink or it is more IVs. Your finishes are great I tend to do, then put away usually never to the frame or pillow stage. All the time saying I have got to frame or make that a pillow. Maybe this year, hahaha.

Our inside/outside stray was sick last year. He was so hot, burning up from a fever. I was afraid he wasn't going to make it to Monday. This was on a Saturday, of course. To the 24 hour emergency we went. He had fluids and antibiotics, blood work etc. Never really found the cause for his fever. Four days later he was fine. His name is now Rusty Ruger. My husband wanted a Ruger but we spend that much on the emergency vet visit and he had to wait a bit longer to get his pistol.

I have to agree with what others are saying - that's an awful lot of stitching for being in a slump. Makes me think you must have melted needles from your stitching so fast in your non-slump days. ;) I do hope 2018 is gentler on you than 2017 has been.
