Do you have a match?

My lighter is low on fuel.  We do have butane, but I won't look for it.  I am a grownup.  I can handle frustration.  Accept disappointment with grace.  Be reasonable.
I'm menopausal, give me the damn match!  It's a good thing I have two pair of Lift n Snips because one is always misplaced.

The bottom left is finished after changing and moving the light stems to green, adding one line beneath Vegas after removing three, adding several rows to the bottom of the large plant, moving the stag up and shortening it, removing the blue dot dog and stitching it lower.  I changed a lot of colors to what I prefer because they were just not showing.

So the center tree.  I left a space for the snake and when adding it, realized the top area is one linen thread to the right.  I am not doing it again.  The snake will hide the error, barely noticeable, and I will screw up the top area by one thread, just for spite.

Once the tree is done (and I hope I get through it) the bottom border will be next, then finish the over one, and the tiny sampler to add should be very easy and quick.  I am considering using a slightly different shade of linen.  When pressing Ann from hand rolling and huggers,

This is Nit's ear.

And this is Bud in his hut.
He loves this spot and after removing hair and machine washing, he's all snuggled in.

Hope the weekend is going well.  I've been searching for videos of the market, seen a few of limited designers.  Nothing sparked my flame as much as the sneak peeks from my favorites.

Thanks for visiting!

My apologies, I thought Missy was in the fight got the name confused! Cats are always loosing hair on the ears in a fight, sometimes it grow back sometimes not. Always so noticeable on black cats! Although I stand by my calicos are bullies observation, sorry. My Aggie ( calico) weighs 10 lbs and is 15 years old and is always picking on my 19 lb male who is 8 years old and such a gentleman. He never retaliates and just calmly moves away.

Marly, your sampler is absolutely beautiful and I wouldn't put a match anywhere near it!

I think the sampler looks great! Somehow I missed the post where you showed a completed version. (Or maybe I just don't remember!) Can you please share? I'm sure I'm not the only one.
Cat fights. Dog fights. ARGH! I hate it.

Back away from the matches...and the butane...and the lighters. It is looking fabulous! And I am with Lauren....except I really don't believe I saw the original version since I was MIA most of the past year. Poor Nitzy.... The very first cat my dad allowed me to keep in the house (we lived on a farm and in his world, cats lived in the barn, not the house) went missing right before Christmas (we think she had crawled up on the engine of one of my sister's friend's cars). Anyways, we found her almost 2 weeks later...rail thin and frostbit. She was black with a little chin and stockings of white...and she lost the fur in her ears...never to regrow.... :-( I hope Nitzy fares better. Bud looks so cozy.... Mine have little caves too.... they love them. Was going to post a photo today, but my post babbled on too long the way it was LOL. ~Robin~

Your sampler is wonderful,,,,,,,,but why do there have to be snakes in them ? UGH !
Nitzy's ear looks painful. I hope it will heal and be okay.
Bud looks so cute in his little "house". Only one of our kitties would ever use anything like it.....Our Miss Kitty. In her last days (kidney failure) I'd put it on my bed, in place of a second pillow and she'd sleep next to me. Such a sweet girl. Jill found her and her baby (Boo) at a former work place. That was over fifteen years ago.
Take care and have a beautiful week......supposed to be rainy here.

I think your sampler is looking fine. No one, except those you tell here, will ever know it's not stitch-for-stitch matching the pattern.

After reading your recent cat woes, I have finally made an appointment for Goober to be fixed. Now I hope he's around for breakfast that morning. Stubby can't be caught, but *so far* he's not a cat that thinks he needs to be the boss of everybody, and after 2 years of being here minding his manners, I don't think he ever will be.

How awful that you are having so much trouble with that sampler. I hate having to frog stitches. I like those snips. The kitties are looking pretty good. I hope Nit's ear heals soon.
