I had to take Carole to an appointment this morning and I got two cats out, but Missy was no where to be found. She is so bad and silent and she does not stay in the room with the boys. Could not find her. Did she sneak out with the others? Did she not come in for breakfast? Search the basement. Search the upstairs. Running around in a frenzy because now I will be late picking her up. Hot flash begins and I stop, open the fridge for a cool blast, and as I turn.... I see the little devil. She must have been looking at those charts on the sofa and hoping to give an opinion in her special ornery way. My wrist is becoming more inflamed and probably infected so I do not need any more scratches. Little does she know that those two are no longer in the running. So there, you dirty pawed little brat. GET OUT!!!
I have decided to force myself into a project but so far, have been dragging my feet. Not only is Mary Spence and Elena Tratman still on a binge somewhere, Mary Elliot must have gone with them. Sarah Harvey and Lillias Davidson are here but I don't have the wool for Lillias yet. The longer I put this off the harder it will be. Am I the only one that can actually lose sampler charts that are brand new and kept in one room? So ridiculous.
Have a great day. Neosporin and Advil for me.

Note to Patty - I did not receive anything from you regarding EBay. You are no-reply and have no email listing on your profile page. Cannot contact you.
I changed settings. Was hoping to get your advice/tips regarding selling on eBay. I never have before and want to reduce stash. Thank you! I love your blog. 😀
if your wrist is infected, you may need more than neosporin! hope it heals well soon.
That was a pretty nasty slice--needs lots of cleaning and neosporin to be sure! Hugs!
Maybe you need welders gloves or hawk handling gloves if you have to touch those evil animals!if the wounds streak go to the doctor STAT!!
I hope you heal quickly. That was a nasty scratch.
Hugs :)

The missing ladies will turn up when you least want them to. Sorry the scratch (although in my book that is more than a scratch) is still troublesome. Hope your sister's appointment went okay today!
Take care of that scratch. It was nasty looking.
I have a cat that hides like that too. Had for about 10'years. Just this year I figured out how to find her. I call out her name and ask her if she wants night-nights (treats in human language) and she comes running. It took her less than a week to learn what night-nights means. Me it took 10 years to learn how to find her. Who's the smart one? Obviously not me! No you aren't alone in loosing things. I can hold an item in the kitchen, not leave the kitchen and misplace it!
I am no doctor but please see a one immediately. A very good acquaintance spent more than a day in the hospital as a result of a simple cat scratch. :/ You are so good at taking care of Carol, please take care of you! All my best! Anne
We're worried about you Marly! Please get the darned scratch looked at! xx
It's terrible that since you're so good to the "brats" that they treat you so badly.
I would try some peroxide on that scratch too. Neosporin is great, but works better with a bandage covering the wound. If its not better today, please see a doctor. You many need a tetanus shot too.
Thinking of you.

Hope Carole's appointment went well, I agree you should have someone look at the scratches. Infections can be nasty. I also agree you should wear gloves or mitten pot holders when removing cats!
Cats can be such a pain at times, can't they? I missed your post about the scratches (been traveling), but they sound nasty!
You need to see a doctor about those scratches IMMEDIATELY. My cat bit my thumb and 2 days later I wound up in the hospital for 3 nights and 4 days. You do not want to go that route. The doctors explained to me that cat bites and scratches are the worst for deep-seated infections. It has to do with how they sheath their claws, which lets germs grow, and they punch rather than slash, so when they strike, the germs get inserted very deeply, well beyond the reach of Neosporin or anything else we can get OTC. If this has not cleared up on its own yet, it's not going to. Unless you want to wind up having to be hospitalized so they can give you IV antibiotics, you need to address it ASAP. Sign me as "Been there, done that, hated it." PLEASE see a doctor.
Hi Marly, I hope you are on antibiotics for your wrist. I had a cat bite me on the fleshy part of my thumb years ago when I was trying to free her paw from the sliding glass door. I took her to vet to have her paw checked and when the vet saw my thumb he told me to go to the doctor if there was any sign of redness due to "cat scratch fever". I went the next day and was put on a course of Cipro. My vet had ended up in the hospital for several days when he was a resident (or whatever the equivalent is for vets) and didn't want it to happen to me. As for your missing charts, it happens to me all of the time. I had a Mill Hill kit stitched and awaiting its beads that disappeared for a week before finally showing up where I was sitting. I think there a stitching gremlins in our houses - it can't be our fault, now then can it? Please take care of your wrist and good luck picking your new project.
To echo some other comments, get thee to a doctor to see about that arm. I had 'cat scratch fever' (yes, it is really a thing) and it was no fun at all, I got very sick.
