You would think with a motif this simple, colored to make the placement so much easier, there would be few errors if any. You would be oh so wrong.
But I still love this. The 3864 is a pink that isn't and perfect. The house may be changed to a very light blue or gray. I'm sorry I didn't dye the fabric a little darker and use the lighter threads as called for, but this is nice also. Just a few needed changed because they were not visible on this color linen.
I saw two linens that melted my chocolate, both from Patti. One is her finish on Murky from PTP and the other color is unknown to me but shown on her post, a Nash kit from County Sampler that I cannot get out of my head. I may not want to stitch, but the desire for luscious linen is not fading.
Have a great weekend.

I've had colored charts too, and still made mistakes. That's a pretty design.
Oh my, Marley. I've begun a "simple" little project to work on while waiting for a bigger project to arrive in the mail. I've made so many mistakes in the first quarter of this easy little stitch that I can't even count them. So much for fun..... 😖
The PTP Christmas in July sale is next Tuesday!
love this sampler...as usual...I'm the same way with wool...not much interest in hooking but still love all the texture and colors...
Such a pretty project, Marly! And that shade of "pink" is definitely more "you" than most pinks! Hope you enjoy your weekend in this wicked heat :(
I think the fabric and threads look just perfect together (though I realize that's on my screen and what you hold in your hand may look different) - this is going to be a lovely sampler. Coloring some of the symbols is a great idea but I'd likely mis-color some and end up making things worse!
Oh this is so pretty! Love the flower design. Fingers crossed on your test results. Hope they are good!
Hi Marly, I've been watching your lovely stitching progress on Polly Cole. I love that sampler. Haven't ordered it, yet. I've seen another finish on murky linen, the Flag Folk pattern by Notforgotten Farm. It was also very pretty on that linen color. If you are looking at the Elizabeth Thomson sampler pinkeep by Stacy Nash, I looked on the Country Sampler website. The linen is straw by Weeks Dye Works. Have a nice weekend:) Best wishes for your sister, and hope your tests come back good.
